Gymtastic Oscar

Oscar slept for 9 hours straight last night, paused for breakfast and slept 4 more hours. The vaccines make him sleepy and groggy. I was happy to get the extra sleep, but I miss my little smiley Oscar. He hardly smiled at all today and needed lots of TLC and mommy time, so I didn't have time to shoot any videos today.

I do, however, have videos and a photo from Saturday, when we broke out Oscar's Fisher Price Gymtastics toy he received for Christmas. This was his first time playing with his Gymtastics, so it was fun to watch. I was pleased to see Oscar relax on his back for a while, since it's been all about the tummy lately.

You'll see in the videos that Oscar quickly learns when he hits the dangling toys, the whole Gymtastic lights up, and makes what I call a "videogame" sound. We're so proud of him for catching on so quickly!





It was fun while it lasted, until Oscar realized he wasn't on his tummy and grunted his way over to his stomach. So stubborn. (Wonder where he gets that trait)?
