Oscar never gets tired of playing in the snow, but David and I do. Luckily, Grandpa Papi happily agreed to take Oscar outside to play.
Oscar also never gets tired of being chased and chasing. Papi was such a good sport. Oscar had a blast and David and I got a much-needed break.
Courtney was also excited to join in the fun!

Why is it that non-toy-items always make the best toys?

Oscar was super silly during dinner.
He loves his "Grandpa Papi."
Too much excitement for Otto. He slept through most of dinner--still holding his favorite non-toy-toy. David made it out of two pudding cups and lentils. Otto loves it.
Near the end of our meal, Otto woke up like "where the heck am I and who put these pudding cups against my forehead?"
Turns out, Otto likes grape nuts. Well, not really, he just likes to hold the box.

Okay, this is not the intended use of the block puzzle that Grandma Kathy sent Oscar for Christmas, but don't tell Oscar that.
Oscar likes to show his little bro the ropes on most of the toys around the house.
It's pretty cute.
Turns out, Oscar's red car is one of Otto's newest favorite toys.
He's getting a little spoiled lately and cries when we stop pushing the car.
Otto's been making lots of funny noises lately.
It's hard to capture these moments on camera, since Otto gets distracted
by the shiny cord on the camcorder and the red "on" light.
Or, sometimes (most times), Courtney gets in the way.

Either way, Oscar is becoming more and more stubborn and independent. It's fun to see his personality emerge--even when he hurts my/our feelings. Here he is calling out to his cat, Sasha, to come play in his giant schoolbus. When he sees me, he tells me to "Walk Away." He learned this at school, it's part of the Montessori curriculum to ask classmates to "walk away" when they upset you. As adorable as it is, it smarts just a little bit. =)
