Belly Shots and Baby Pics

David and I just realized we have yet to take any official belly photos with this pregnancy. With my Oscar pregnancy, we were diligent about taking pics every couple of weeks, but we've been slackers this time around.

Below are two 33-week pics of my belly. Baby's official due date is 4/23, which is one week before my original due date of 4/30. Since I'll be having another c-section, my doctor likes to schedule c-sections for week 39. Of course, Oscar came at week 38, so we'll just wait and see what happens.

Last month, we had a 4D ultrasound called a Funscan to check in on Oscar's baby brother. He looks just like Oscar looked on his 4D scan. They call them Funscans because they're not covered by insurance and really don't serve any diagnostic purposes--they're just for fun!

Here's Oscar playing on his retro rocket toy--a gift from his Aunt Sara and Uncle Tim. He's had it since September and was content to mostly push the buttons. Now he likes to push himself all over the house. He has a little work to do on steering, but won't let us help him.

Here he is running around with his popper-a birthday gift from our friends Meghan, Aaron and their daughter, Mabel.


Oscar LOVES to look out the window at the truck parked across the street. Here he is watching the truck from our downstairs window. He also likes to look at it from his upstairs bedroom window as part of his bedtime routine. It's our neighbor's work truck and it has a blinking red alarm system light on the dashboard. The light is what really cracks Oscar up. He has a similar reaction to the upstairs smoke detector--which also has a blinking light.

These photos are completely unstaged. Oscar was running around the house yesterday while I was tidying up the kitchen. All of a sudden, I noticed no footsteps--just silence. Then, I noticed Oscar and Cody relaxing together. So sweet! Well, that's all for this week.
