Out 'n' about and On the Move

It's late, so I'm going to quickly recap our week and let the photos/videos do the rest of the talking. Here's some footage from last weekend's play date at my friend, Meghan's house. We've called this play group the "old-time-y baby names group." The picture above shows Ike and Oscar. The other babies in the group are Mabel and August. All the moms in this group prefer the more classic baby names.
Here's Oscar (at the beginning of the week) protesting his stage 3 Gerber dinners. We're now eating them just fine. What a difference a week makes! We've nicknamed the high chair, "Oscar's cry chair."

Oscar loves playing with the floor mats. Gross, I know, but they make him happy.

He also likes to climb on the dogs. (not something we normally allow)
Cody is such a good doggie. Oscar has two fistfuls of his hair, which you'll see we had to pry loose--and Cody just lays there. We gave both doggies lots of treats after this episode.

Still obsessed with the blinds. In this video, I just put Oscar on the floor because he was climbing on me (stepping on my stomach), trying to reach the blinds behind me.
Until he realizes a quicker way to get to the blinds.
As you can see, no matter where I put Oscar down to play, he constantly finds the nearest window (with blinds) to gravitate towards.
Oscar's 2 front teeth!

Oscar knows the sound of the garage door opening means that daddy's home.

In this video, Oscar is tired and ready for beddie, but we're not ready for bedtime quite yet.
I'm trying to play peek-a-boo with him, but as you can see, David is much more effective!
Here are Oscar's teacher's notes from the week:
Monday: Oscar had a good day. We read, "All Through the Night" and "Kisses." We also played with the pop up toy & stacking toys. We sang "Twinkle, Twinkle" and "Our ABC-s." He did great with lunch today.
Tuesday: Oscar had a good day. We read "Silly Old Bear Songs." We sang "Winnie the Pooh" and "Little Black Rain Cloud." We also read "Count with Tigger." He did good with lunch! He i getting better at it every day.
Wednesday: We read "A Day With Barney" and "Witzy's Numbers." Oscar had a good day. We played with the cars and phones. He also jumped in the horse today. He was being so cute today. He was clicking his tongue at me and I would smile and do it back, then he would give me that "shy" look and smile, then do it again. LOL.
Thursday: We read "Cathy the Calf" and "Bobby the Bunny." He liked the sounds "moo" and "meow"--that was the cat that Cathy the Calf saved! He played in the saucers with Alison and Christalyn. They talked and laughed. I was going to take a picture, but the camera was GONE!
Friday: Oscar had a good day. Today we played with the stacking toys. He can unstack them all by himself now!! So, now we can start working on stacking them. It was so cute. Christalyn and Oscar were playing music. LOL! Oscar was in the swing and Christalyn was standing next to it. She was playing the piano and he was "singing" into this toy. It was so cute...and so unplanned. So it was too cute!
